Morioh is a crazy, noisy and BIZZARE town located just north of S City, M Prefecture of Japan.
It is based on Hirohiko Arakis own birthplace of Sendai in Miyagi Prefecture.

Creepy looking rock, resembles a face
Some call it the "Angelo Rock"
It appeared on this one street in south Morioh just suddenly in 1999.
Popular date spot for lovers, and I don't really get why...

Coast in northeast Morioh outlooking the Pacific Ocean, and next to the Villas once inhabited by Samurai!
It gets its name from an incident back in 1999 when a couple fishermen saw a girl fall from the cliffs, only to be miraculously bounced up into safety by the nearby rocks!?
Now the local fishers consider this land sacred, and pray here.
If you ask them for the exact spot, they'll gladly show you where it is!

An authentic Italian restuarant which happens to be right next to the graveyard in Morioh's outskirts...
Do not let that deter you. The place is owned by a fantastic Italian chef, Tonio Trussardi. He runs the restuarant alone though, so there's only 2 tables
There's also no menu. Trussardi has this weird thing where he looks at you and decides what your meal's gonna be. That's alright though, it's all delicious!
Just the water tastes like something a fantasy Alpine princess would drink, made me feel like I got 10 full hours of sleep!
I mean, I started crying uncontrollably after a few sips, and my eyeballs got all shriveled up... but it was SO worth it!!!

Why does some town have a grand hotel anyway? Tourist consumerism, babyyy

The former home of famous manga artist Rohan Kishibe, known for his series "Pink Dark Boy" (ピンクダークの少年)
Located on the 2nd block of the Kotodai district, it's only a minutes walk from the nearest bus stop.
Half of it burnt down in 1999. As I can tell from my visit it was later rebuilt.
Apparently, Rohan Kishibe wouldn't answer your knocks back then, either...
