Artist: Masayoshi Takanaka Genres: City pop, fusion, jazz-funk, disco Year: 1979 •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• Masayoshi Takanaka's masterpiece compilation album of his greatest (just at that time!) songs since his solo career debut with Seychelles (1976). This album and the season of summer are the same thing. In fact I am inclined to say summer was invented in 1979 specifically for this album. You may also want to check out Masayoshi Takana's later 1997 album The White Goblin, based on the 1996 sequel to the first book, which has more enviromental themes. |
